As the Emperor Ming continues to try and enslave the earth, so someone must try to defend it. This task falls to The Defenders of The Earth, a band of eight gallant fighters led by the hero Flash Gordon. Together they defend the earth from the hearts of Mongo.
In this feature length adventure The Defenders also have to reckon with Ming's son, Prince Krotan, possibly even more treacherous than his father, when he kidnaps Jeda as part of his plan to usurp his father's throne. Only the unique abilities of The Defenders of The Earth can stop Ming the Merciless but can even they stand up to Prince Krotan and save Jeda?
